Air conditioning LS430

On start-up I'm getting a diagnostic message 'Change aircon filter'.  I've done this - the front filter was heavily occluded, the rear much less so - but the message remains.  Is this indicative of a deeper problem?

Hi there

It just needs resetting. All you do is switch the car on, on the climate control, press the off button, keep it pressed until the mesg disappears.

Am I right in saying you have to hold the button down before you start the engine?

Thanks to Messi - and it's in the manual too, if only I'd looked there first!  You don't need to start the engine - just switching the ignition on is enough, and you then press and hold the A/C on/off for 4 seconds.
