Question about sidelights / parking lights

Has anyone or is it even possible / legal to have the sidelights / parking lights sorted to be equivalent of DRL?

I'm thinking the LED bulb swap, and wired somehow to come on with ignition.

surely I can't be the only one that's thought about it, which suggests my Google-Fu isn't very good, or I'd have found the answer one way or another.

There are conversion kits available on eBay.com which I think are oem, but there aren't cheap, plus postage from the US. Other cheap replicas available but wouldn't trust those. Recently there was a 2008 on AT with the DRL conversion, so yes it must be possible....but.... it has been debated on here that owners have generally preferred the adaptive headlights. I have considered it like you but currently not wanting to spend £1200+ on that aesthetic mod.

Is the DRL conversion to the sidelights though? I'll have to look at the details.

That not withstanding, no danger of me spending £1200 on that sort of mod.

Do you have the light sensor for Automatic headlights when it gets dark? If you do see

The DRL element of the fog almost looks like the Lexus logo but I'm not sure how they would look once fitted.
