Afternoon all,

My one owner 2006 IS220D with circa 285k mileage (approx. 0.8k per week) and full Lexus service history to Nov 2015 has only clocked less than 1k miles since then and after being parked for a couple of weeks now has a total electrical system failure. Car will not respond to fobs, cannot be locked and emergency hazard light will not even work and NO it is not the Battery, car will not respond to ye old jump start.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be before it goes to the garage

Looking forward to the feedback

Best regards

Wilk

A Battery can fail so even a jump start will not work.  It happened to my previous car. What makes you sure it isn't the Battery on your car?

Hi Paul and welcome to the LOC, we are a friendly bunch and some of us even know how to pull them to bits and put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer left over.

I cant help with your present queries but I'm sure someone will be along ASAP.

We recommend you spend a couple of mins looking over the rules of the LOC, we will be asking questions later
