In time I think Lexus will be forced to go down the all-electric route as more and more manufacturers go over to completely electric cars, they will be forced to Compete. When batteries are capable of doing 300 to 400 miles a charge.. As they are probably not the far off now.

There are limitations to plug-in's, for example you need a driveway or a garage, also they are not much good for people who live in flats as most that are built these days only have parking spaces. I do understand that, but as the average journey in the UK is 8 miles, so I am told, it would be really useful.
