Help! What is this..?

Hello everyone, hope you can help.

Does anyone know what this part is called so I can try and buy a replacement? It was just above the exhaust back box until yesterday, corrosion seems to have taken care of that though :(

It's just a heat shield, they always come away like that. And welcome to the LOC!

You could just replace it using bigger washers.

Thank you The-Acre! I've been a long time reader but have never known enough about cars to join in the chat :)

 

I'll get some washers to go with the new exhaust back box (that also fell off yesterday!)

Hi Markio and welcome to the LOC, we are a friendly bunch and some of us even know how to pull them to bits and put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer left over.

I cant help with your present queries but I'm sure someone will be along ASAP.

We recommend you spend a couple of mins looking over the rules of the LOC, we will be asking questions later
