Just bought my first Lexus!

Hi, I've just bought a Lexus IS250 SEL 2006 in blue with the cream/beige interior. Pick it up next week and looking forward to getting to know it. I think I've got a good one, as although it's 10 years old, it's what I wanted, one owner and FSH. New exhaust, refurbed wheels and overall excellent. Fully loaded with the Satnav and Mark Levinson audio, it even has the rear sun blind!

Looking forward to giving it a polish before driving up to Scotland from Cheshire for a few weeks work. Should throw up any niggles! Pic to come of course.

I'm in almost the same position, due to collect a 2007 IS250 SE-L in Blue with cream leather and multimedia package on Thursday next week. Having to travel from Teesside to Kent to collect it. Was going to wait until Friday as it's the 1st of the month and I'd save on Car Tax, but decided I couldn't wait (justified it to myself by wanting to avoid the Friday traffic )

Well picked mine up today, a bit early and got a nice run home. Car is big and solid, in comparison to the Passat I've had for the last few years. The boot does seem damp though. When I inspected it, I thought it was the owner being over keen with cleaning agents, but it is a little damp. Not surprising for a 10 year old car, but I'll have to find out why.

Exactly the year, colour and spec that I had before I got my 300h.  You will just love it. Enjoy, enjoy enjoy.

Nice, just the colour! Mine's got a lot of minor bodywork scratches but I think I'll get a good mop done by a valeter and see what's left to fix.

Like the wheels, just the standard ones on mine, but recently refurbed. Inside is almost spotless, its just the outside that needs a tidy.
