Hello. New member, first Lexus

Hello everyone. Just bought myself a 2007 registered GS300SE (leather, sunroof, multimedia.) I consider myself pretty savvy when it comes to cars and electronic systems on board but even after reading the manual and playing with all of the toys there is just one thing that I need help on. The tyre pressure system dash light comes on and goes off with the ignition in a normal self test way suggesting the car has this on board BUT there is no button where the manual says it should be to initialise it. So does that mean the light is bogus and it is not fitted or is the manual wrong?

Hi Tim and welcome to the LOC, we are a friendly bunch and some of us even know how to pull them to bits and put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer left over.

I cant help with your present queries but I'm sure someone will be along ASAP.

We recommend you spend a couple of mins looking over the rules of the LOC, we will be asking questions later

Welcome Tim.

I believe even the base grade had TPWS so your SE will certainly have it. You are not the first person to say they cannot find the button but I'm sure it is there. You really need to kneel down outside the vehicle and put your head into the footwell to see it. Once you know where it is you should be able to reach down and press the button from the drivers seat.
