Engine hunting after start

Hi all, I have an IS220d 07. everytime i start the car the engine hunts and stalls. i have to rev the car a couple of times to make sure it doesnt stall. can anyone help me with this issue? cheers

I know nothing of the 220d. However hunting is usually an air leak post the afm sensor. Or faulty afm?

Think Jules means the MAF...the Mass Air Flow meter. You can do a solvent clean on it..worth trying...check out vids on youtube.
