Looks good to me and the mileage ain't that bad either + its had the cam belt and pump changed That alone could cost a few hundred

cambelt was done in 2011 jon but only done about 5k since would that be ok for a few yrs

I checked the MOT history on-line. The mileage checks out but there are some advisories; One of the Upper Control Arm bushings is worn slightly, the front discs need replacing and both front wheel bearings are noisy. Apart from that it seems a well looked after example. Just bear in mind that it will need a bit of money spent on it to bring it up to scratch.

Its important that its been driven constantly as standing idle does more harm than good particularly to things like tyres and belts

well just been to view this and left it there .car was running when i got there he said it needed a jump start this morning he had drove for an hour and it still wouldnt start when you switched it off .lots of wobble through steering wheel upto 40mph i didnt go any faster .exhaust blowing pretty bad from either manifold or front pipe .if id known of these extra faults i probably wouldnt of drove 230 mile round trip to see it on top of the advisory stuff it does look nice but god knows how much it needs spending on it .so back to sq one still looking

Having read your latest post I think you've made the right decision It may or may not have cost a fortune to put right Better safe than sorry

It's hard to estimate how good a used car will be from an advert. I had a similar experience when I was looking out for a descent LS400.   I once went to view an "immaculate" example only to come away very disappointed. You can't always trust what you read. Unfortunately, human nature being what it is, not everyone is up front when it comes to describing their cars.

well im sure this was a members car a few years back "steve bedford" (irrelavent i know)

it has now been relisted with "first to see will buy" mentioned - no mention of blowing exhaust though
