New Member and its beeping?

Hi All, just a hello from me Andy, decided to buy my first ever lexus this morning coming from a Bmw and Audi background it was a bit of a leap but i must say its only been 1 day and I am in love with it, Such a great it of kit and so comfortable to drive. 1 quick query when i switch off the ignintion i get a series of loud beeps from the dash area of the car, I think this might be alerting me to the dashboard message saying key fob Battery low but just wanted to check with you guys and introduce myself to the forum.

Hello Andrew and welcome to the LOC.

It could well be the Battery low in the key fob, have you tried the spare?

The batteries are only a couple of quid so I would replace at the first chance you get, you don't want to find yourself stranded if the old Battery fails completely plus it will either prove or disprove your theory.

Another bleep cause is a partially open sunroof so check that too.

Hi and welcome. First Lexus and its the 220D. Well if you like that you will be absolutely overjoyed with any future Lexus.

Yes get the Battery changed or try other key first and see if you get the same beeps.

Hi Andrew and welcome to the LOC, we are a friendly bunch and some of us even know how to pull them to bits and put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer left over.
