Hi I'm new and in need of some serious help pls.

I have a lexus is200 I was driving it and the engine light came on and then the trac light off started flashing.

I went and got a friend to read it and he said it needEd new spark plugs so I got them changed.

But it still doing it I have now been told it's a random misfire.

Was hoping to get him to do it but he has gone on holiday and I'm now stuck with out a car and pregnant and have a little one.

Can anyone tell me what it could be or help in anyway pls

Hi Angel and welcome to the LOC, we are a friendly bunch and some of us even know how to pull them to bits and put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer left over.

I cant help with your present queries other than to say, look through the archives to see if there are any answers for you there but my guess is that you need to get the Lexus people to attache their box of tricks to track down just what it is that's giving you the problem.

We recommend you spend a couple of mins looking over the rules of the LOC, we will be asking questions later
