That oil looks really black. Wonder when it was last serviced? Mine looks cleaner just before it goes in for a service.

Post should be BMW not BMV - I need to go to spec savers !!

Noticed how the ISF kept on coming and then kept on going (passed the BMV !) after it seems to sound like the BMW hits top revs

Ive seen an RX300 with a blown engine in the workshop - Service guy said the oil hadn't been changed in over 30k miles. He pulled it out and showed me. Had the consistency of fudge!

Hmmmmm.. shame BMW couldnt keep the reputation of its e46 M3 engine. The v6 4.0 was a oil guzzler built with weak components. Thats what pushed to the mighty ISF.😆

 

I miss my ISF😔
