Looking for a few bits

My recently acquired 1999 LS400 is coming on nicely although a little behind with the maintainance due to having to spend last weekend working on Skye.

I'm after a couple of bits namely a CD cartridge or the details off one and either a spare master or valet key I can reprogramme to mine as a spare (even the electronic guts would do to fit into a new case).

Managed to get hold of a refurbished set of IS220d wheels and tyres for it which cost less than the refurb quote on the existing set.

Still diagnosing the non working steering wheel (no in/out or up/down movement) all 3 supply fuses good so looks like a dash apart job to access the ECU.

Can't help with the bits Steve, but what details do you want?

Also, I bought a set of IS wheels off a diesel, subject to them fitting my 99 LS.

They were 16 inch and wouldn't fit, as they fouled the calipers on the front.

Had I of known you wer at Skye I would of invited you round to take your pick on bits of my mk4 LS.... I'm scrapping it next week as I've neglected it since I got my 600.....

and Mrs is complaining about it sat on driveway doing nothing,

as I am not a gold member I cannot offer any bits for sale as I have been constantly reminded lol... 

Anyway I will dig out the cartridge for you FREE of charge just send me your postal details and it's yours ... Just put in a extra £ or two the next time the poppy tins are out

No I'm a number of miles east of Inveness but could of arranged to meet somewhere (any excuse for a road trip) lol.. I'm away from home at moment but back for the weekend and will get it posted down to you asap ps think I've 2 cartridges so you can have them both

Just back home and wrapped up the CD cartridge for you, will try and get it posted out to you tomorrow, only one as other is still in car and Battery dead so can't get it ejected at moment.....

Cheers for that Graham, I'd forgot all about it, another weekend off that I've had to work this time mid Wales coast!

Yet again timing belt is next weekend.

Purely a coincidence but a mate called around today with his LS400 so I tried his cart in mine to see if the changer worked and all good.
