I've just fitted a pair of 50W white Cree Canbus LED  bulbs to replace my standard reversing lights. Now I can actually see where I am going when I reverse at night down my very narrow concrete driveway (with a nasty 1 foot drop on one side). They are extremely bright but also point slightly downwards so as not to dazzle people behind. The bulbs are quite long and nearly touch the back of the plastic lens unit when fitted, but fitting is a doddle. Just plug in and play. They should last the rest of the lifetime of the car. They are a bit expensive at £18 (not cheap Chinese ones) but a great, useful upgrade. I'm glad I got them.

Jaques, I got mine online from Horizon LEDs. You want T20/7440 (wedge fit). They come in various wattages. I chose 50W. There's a small discount if you buy two. Theyr'e high quality aluminium Cree bulbs (American). Easy peasy to fit too. Hope this helps.
