I think this one looks very nice, including the aftermarket wheels, which I'm not normally keen on.

Haven't looked at mot history or anything, but it's a bargain imo, if it lives up to it's looks.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lexus-LS400-show-condition-/191795165948?

Edit:- Having now checked mot history, it's pretty good......only 1 actual fail (bulb!!), and a couple of minor advisories, one negative though, it's showing as first use Jan 95, not 96 as the eBay ad says.

Another odd thing, there's a lexus in the background in one of the pics, and the reg doesn't come up on the mot check site.

Having had a brainwave, just put it in as a toyota, and it's there, anyone know what model it is?

Got to say that looks gorgeous. Good service history and an enthusiast owner. Very nice.

Indeed, I'd be on that like a rash if I wanted to try LS ownership, without breaking the bank.

Looks very nice but I do prefer the mark IV personally.

looks to be a very fine early Mk3, thus Jan 1995  ........  but I prefer original wheels tbh

No problem there Malc, they can't give them away on eBay, so easy to replace.

LS 400 wheels are numb imo, with the possible exception of the DHP wheels.

However, most aftermarket wheels don't do much for me either, particularly the spoked"open" style of wheel, which makes the car look like a pram, but I do like the wheels on this particular car.

All down to personal taste though, thankfully we are not all the same in that respect.

Looks very good. On one of the photos, there's an OEM Mk3 wheel just visible, so perhaps the seller still has them?

this car has been advertised on and off several times over the last six months.

i have a feeling this is not the original owner because the original owner (IIRC) wrote a very good description documenting how he had looked after the car spending alot of money on it (its had a full respray) and used it mainly for shows.

Nevertheless its a very good example and certainly at that price a steal - looked at the drivers seat might god it looks NEW !

It's gone, best offer accepted.

I wonder if it will turn up elsewhere?

Wonder how much the offer was as well.

............  I remember this one now and I think I might have commented that having a respray doesn't give ( usually ) the enormous strength / depth of paintwork that Original paintwork gives with a Lexus Ls400

And gold is very difficult to colour-match, isn't it?
