Gs300 Mk 1 Sport (optional) 10" Rear Wheels Wanted

Hi'ya & A Happy New Year!,

I've just purchased a MK1 Lexus GS300 sport (Dark green, N Reg, 112k, Full Lexus History) off eBay for £4750.

Anyway, the car at present only has the standard 18" wheels all round.

I am trying to get a hold of a couple of 10" rear (deep dish) alloys from the Mk1 Sport for the rear of the car. I think it looks far more sexy with these on! B)

Any help or guidance on where I might get a couple of these (either with or without tyres) would really be appreciated.

As far as the 10" wide rears they are as rare as rocking horse you know what.

I've got 10" rears and as for the noise can't say i've noticed any 'out of the ordinary' noise

all i can say is when i chaged from 'Conti Sport' to 'Dunlop SP' tyres it went abit quieter inside the cabin

I had them on mine with P Zero's, with lower suspension and uprated anti roll bars - no discernable increase in road noise.

We should still be able to get them. There was a period last year where they were unavailable because of manufacturing faults (apparantly).

When I had the 10" rears on there was a slight increase in noise, however the car also seemed more poised. I've got the 8" alloys all round at present as I found the 10" a bit expensive when they only last 12,000 miles and I was doing 3,000 miles per month. They also made winter driving err interesting

I am also looking at sourcing wider rear wheels for my 93. I like the look of the Sport wheels you have in the UK. Here in the US, no one drives them-I like the look!
