Not quite sure why this is found under "Lexus" on preloved site. If you can stay awake its an interesting car I suppose. Looks something like a Russian project build. Whitewall tyres added by owner and Wing mirrors from the sixties? Nice?

Not being that knowledgeable on cars after the Seventies I admit I'd never heard of this marque.

V12 chain driven is a plus, but interior not to my taste.

Any lovers of this car?

The 'Royal' edition is the only car I have ever known that has literal granite in the interior. the engine is stuff of legend, and does indeed make a good noise.

A search of 1GZ-FE on youtube will have both examples of it's linear power curve and loud exhaust capabilities, if you're silly enough (like me) to watch that sort of thing.

I'm conflicted on these. I want one; an LS turned up a notch in every area.

But it was definitely designed as a car to be driven in rather than one to drive, so it probably wouldn't be much fun except as a curio to take to car shows.

I just love big Jap cars, Crowns, Laurels, Legends, 300C, LS, etc, etc, and have owned plenty of them since the late 70s.

Not surprising I suppose, considering my dream car is a 59 Caddy.

Sadly, few people in the UK have the same taste, and a lot of cars from Japan never make it over the water, so are rare indeed...........shame!

That ticks all my boxes! If I had money to waste on toys, that would be in my toy box.

I see there's another white convertible one on eBay.

Dear God, I think I'm in love!

Here's the link, and make sure you view the 6 minute video clip of the making of the car.

Fantastic. Ticks all my boxes too. Something about big Jap motors that just does it for me. My first was an 'L' reg. Datson 260C. Great car.

A further dangling carrot on this! The net curtains look like grannies lounge!

I am not really into convertibles - BUT that white one is lovely.

If I were financially loaded................... I would be up north as quick as a twick!

I'd heard of the Century, but did not know about the V12 I must admit.  Note the assembly with a digital torque wrench - now why can't our fitters use those?

I suspect Mercedes copied the idea with their Maybach concept.  Serious mortgage territory.
