Is300 Car Cover

Hello Fellow Lexi

I have recently returned to the UK from sunnier climes, bringing my beloved IS300 along.

I aim to use it only for leisure so it will be parked outdoors for long periods and I am looking for a good, custom car cover.

i have noted an old forum topic on this but nothing recent.

Can anyone help?

Hello and welcome to the LOC.

I guess the usual places to look are amazon and eBay and perhaps Halfords.

Main thing is to get a breathable one that allows moisture out and a good fitting design, some of the cheap ones are little more than a sheet of polythene with a few fixings,the 1st high winds and away it goes!

Another idea if you are planning on long term standing is to get some silica gel packs to put inside the car which will absorb any moisture present.

Halford ones aren't bad. I've currently got the one I had on my xjr on my mx5. Bit big though!

friendly bunch and some of us even know how to pull them to bits and
put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer
left over.

Can only repeat those that have already been mentioned for a cover.

Hello and thanks to everyone for advice given, it seems that custom made car covers for the IS300 are not available in the UK so I will do as suggested.
