Hi, just bought my first Lexus a week ago. It's an IS200 SE. Very pleased with it. Planning on tidying it up over the next few months before putting it on the road. Front bumper/bonnet respray, refurbish alloy wheels and upgrade of standard CD player will be my starting points. Based in Northern Ireland. Looking forward to driving her.

Nice choice of Lexus, alloy wheels have always been prone to paint peeling and corrosion once it breaks through but do come up nice if refurbished.

I guess it's stonechips on the bonnet.

I think the harnesses are available for fitting aftermarket audio kit in the IS so should be plug and play.

friendly bunch and some of us even know how to pull them to bits and
put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer
left over.

Steve, thinking of going gunmetal for the alloys. Never liked silver wheels on a silver car.

Ordered up the Connects2 gear already and looking at double din head units. Installed a few before.

Mike, played some blues/rock in the past. Hard to beat. I'll give the rules a look over. Been a while since I hit the forums.
