Any advice. Boot won't open using key fob, would it be boot related or key fob related.

Phil,I had the same problem once. I found that I had to hold the button in for 2-3 seconds before anything happened. Takes longer to work than the central locking.

Yes, I fell for the same thing and only figured it out after a couple of days of owing the car. God knows why it's not the same as the central locking duration but I am sure the Lexus boffins have a reason...

its so you dont open the boot accidentally, it can be adjusted by the dealer though

also check the cylinder barrel etween the petrol flap and boot release pull is not pressed in

Mark is getting is petrol flap solenoid mixed up with his boot opening solenoid.

i meant the barrel which is between the fuel cap release and boot release situated in the cabin near the drivers right knee - if the barrel is pushed in it means the boot is locked and will only once by inserting the key and releasing the barrel

Nope. Doesn't work of the fob by pressing button for long time, barrel is out not depressed in. Anymore suggestions.
