Different, but not my cup of tea.

My only complaint about the front end of my Mk4, is the acrylic headlights, which I need to restore, where as the glass ones on Mk2 were maintenance free.

OK, what's surprising to me is that it can be done at all.

But the sculpted/softened shape of the new front-end clash with the more boxy rear-end. Worse still, and this is more subjective, I'd miss the under-stated elegance of the front end (which was the best thing Toyota ripped-off from Meredes), just to get a car that looked a bit more modern.

10/10 for effort though! ;)

I agree but it does look odd when you know what it should look like!

RHD model so would assume located in Japan where the required parts can probably be bought for a few pounds and not the 1000s needed to do the job over here.

Nice job but I would have just bought the 460 as a complete car.
