Hi from a potential new rx450h owner, test drove one yesterday and was very impressed, 2013 grey luxury model with 13000 miles on the clock, is there anything I should be looking for on this model? Its coming from Lexus Cardiff so should be ok?

Hello and welcome to the LOC.

With the age and mileage and I assume a FLSH you shouldn't have any problems, Lexus give a comprehensive warranty which can be extended ( haggle for a good deal).

put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer
left over.

Well I've gone and done it Picking the new car up on Saturday hope it lives up to my expectations?

Well got the car today, very nice, drove back from Lexus Cardiff in the most torrential rain, horrible traffic, flooded roads but still managed 32 mpg so well pleased. The car was very quiet, stable, and relaxing although because the weather was terrible I didn't play around too much, just pleased to get home.

BTW Lexus Cardiff were superb and Matt the salesman was a gem.

So three weeks into ownership now and all is well 😊 I managed to get 40mpg on a steady run across country the other day and it seems to average about 35-36.mpg so well happy ( Range Rover sport did 24) 

i have a question though, can I keep the engine running when in traffic when it's really cold? Obviously when the engine stops so does the heater ❄️💨⛄️ I guess the same would apply in the hot weather with the air con?
