I got my ADSL from them, free modem, had to pay for connection, but only 19.99 a month.

Its not too bad, only goes down occasionally, no complaints here.

Took me 16 phonecalls, 1 month later to sort out a fault with mine... kept blaming my BT line... and what was it.... their poxy modem...!!!

Ended up fixing it myself by loaning a modem from a mate to try out...When it worked...thats when AOL finally sent one out to me which took another 17 days! No refund, no suscription reduction... But they will easily pass you through to cancell!!!! cos they get more money of ya as the year is not over yet !!

Sad company to deal with !

Yep me ..no problems as yet.Took about 15 days from when first ordered to up in running.

Just after doing a speed chek on http://www.adslguide.org.uk/

upstream @ 451 kbps

downstream @ 251 kbps

I'm happy enough with it so fer ..on ADSL from november last year and so far (touch wood) has not went down yet.

At least you guys get options for your broadband provider. I stuck with the delights of kingston communictions. Took them 2 days to get my line working, and they said it was my equipment. It was just kc being incompetent like usual. Once the service gets going though its quite quick. 522k down and 288 up.

Have butchers at 'Plus.net', I dunno what the deal is now, but I got mine at a very good price a year or so ago.
