Changing Headlight Bulbs

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone !!! Wish you guys had a warm Christmas with parents and friends

I have a question about headlight. In is300h, how to change the headlight bulb ???? As it's different from the old IS250...... It's a bit complicated to change in is300h.

Also, anyone recommend some good headlight bulb ??? I have done some research with OSRAM night breaker, is it nice with bright enough ??? And good whitish / little blue :)

Thanks ;)

You is300h has HID headlights so doubt you will need to change a bulb. Osram Nightbreakers are incandescent filament bulbs not suitable for HID headlights.

You could change the HID bulb if so desired it is a D4S. It would involve removing & dismantling the headlight unit. A lot of work for little if any gain.

I agree with suggestion to NOT change HID if they are not blown; it is a delicate work and the risky, as they work with high voltage.

Anyway, it could be a reason to change lamp to have a different light temperature, the best for vision is around 4000 K° while many like 6000 K° for their blueish nuances. Personally, for fog I'd like a yellowish lamp (4000 K° are white).
