How to brighten the puddle lights. Sorry thought it was self explanatory.

Posted

no they are not what you want as the bulb holder goes into the light unit from the side i.e. parallel to the ground

so using the LED mentioned above the light will shine in the wrong direction use an LED that emits light on all sides

and that will work just fine

Would the Ring 501's help you?

Not sure about the Canbus, PCM.

it wont throw up any errors using the leds ,i think the canbus system monitors the systems

that are required and not a supplementary lighting circuit for convienience that has no

importance as such

I have Ring 501's as sidelights.

They are amazing!

Canbus too, BUT... whether that does make any difference, I don't know...

How Much??? Lol have you had them long?

They cost me about £17.

My local garage fitted them free for me.

I've had them about a month, but they look like they will last and last.

i think the hardest part is to keep the puddle light in place when re-assembling the rear mirror housing

i found it used to keep coming out of its location.

and now you can now see why the original leds wouldn't of worked.

glad it went well for you.
