Why The Secrets ?

I've just been browsing through "THE GARAGE". There's alot of very nice cars in there, but what I can't understand is, alot of you guys have done some very nice mods, but seem to have done them in secret.

I don't want to seem to be getting at anyone in particular, but if your gonna do a mod to your car, why not post it on the forums instead of keeping it to yourself.

I for one find it very interesting if someone is going to buy something new for their car.

It makes a good topic of conversation....

PS: Sorry if this sounds a bit abrupt, it isn't meant to. :)

This is just my opinion, purely based on observation, but I'd guess it's because there's a lot of sharing and copying off each others ideas.

While it's good to show and share what and how you've done some things, with certain mods, they're suddenly no longer new, novel, and exciting when others copy it.

Perhaps those, that have kept their mods quiet, prefer not to have there mods copied and therefore unique. That way they can be just that little bit different from everyone else.

Remember this is my just opinion why some people might keep their mods low profile. It's not my point of view... :)
