Fascinating to observe, in the really foggy weather recently, the Adaptive Front Lighting working, when turning corners.

In the fog, the beam travel showed up really well.

I guess I have taken it for granted, but to see the lights adjust, is quite surreal - and very helpful.

Is this when the lights turns left/right when steering?

I can see mine working but the amount of angle doesn't seem to be significant. Then again i've not really had issues with other cars turning/cornering in the dark

Yes, they turn left and right.

In the fog it made them really noticeable - but they only operate I think, at low speeds...

I have yet to observe my lights moving.

Is it just main beams or dipped as well? Or even fog lights? Is the turning speed dependent?

Didn't notice anything in the fog last w/e but then I did not have main beams on.

The dipped beams are so flat that I wonder if turning them would make any difference.

Puzzled.

The AFS beams are most noticeable on country b roads, and activate above 20mph I think. I work out in the sticks and notice every evening when I come home as I have quite a twisty route!

They still work at higher speeds 60+ mph but if street lights are on or there's lots of oncoming traffic, you kinda don't notice them!

The flat lighting is cool because you don't need lens thingies when driving in Europe (but you should deactivate AFS).

Only disadvantage to the flat lighting is the bushes & pavements and some street/gantry signs aren't so well illuminated...

It's very noticeable on the RX450H with twin LED bulbs at the front. They cross over and widen the viewing angle by quite alot
