New Lexus Is220D Owner

Hi guys I'm shaun from Staffordshire and have recently bought my first lexus.

My dad actually owned the car before me. It's an is220d in black 08 plate with 61000 on the clock.

My dad sold me the car for £2000 and I'm absolutely delighted with it.

Really looking forward to being a part of this forum as I really can't see me ever driving anything else again apart from a lexus.

The IS220D is not without its problems, well documented on here, but I'm sure your Dad will have primed you about them.

Hi Shaun and welcome u got ur self a bargain mate I also own is220d se-l on 2006 with 91777 miles and it's a great car to drive only thing is dpf getting blocked due to local mileage happy motoring

Hi Shaun and welcome to the LOC, we are a
friendly bunch and some of us even know how to pull them to bits and
put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer
left over.

We recommend you spend a couple of mins
looking over the rules of the LOC, we will be asking questions later.

My dad's actually bought a bmw 328i it's super quick but he's missing his lexus already.

I love my new lexus and wouldn't swap it for anything.

Once u get lexus bug 😅u don't want to drive another car I was looking at bmw 320I m sport business edition as gonna change my car but now diffently gonna go for another lexus is250 this was my first lexus @ now I hooked on lexus brand. Is250 is even better then is220d test drove couple plus my wife won't drive anything but lexus now

I totally agree with you . This is my first lexus and although I have read so many negative things about the is220d on this forum I absolutely love mine.

Can't see me ever driving anything else again in the future apart from a lexus
