Has anyone bought the Lexus Cool Box? It's not cheap, but keeps food hot or chilled. Is it worth it?

Cheaper to just get a cool box and stick it in the boot.

£280! plus another £95 for a mains plug for use indoors.So yes, a lot of money.

It can keep food warm too, it seems. I have read on other forums that some who have bought similar box's for other cars are happy with them as they are useful as an extra long term cool box when on holiday or camping etc. We often go off on day trips and although normal cool boxes do a fair job, they don't keep things really cold, like drinks etc. my wife is quite keen, but it is silly money really, unless you know you will use it a lot, and it works well. Still thinking about it.

Something like this seems like it'll do the job though? and £38!!

Im assuming the NX has a socket in the boot?
