Had my IS250C for just 3 weeks. I have successfully set memory buttons PS1 and PS2 to myself and my wife respectively.

I have assigned my key fob to PS1, but the other key fob won't assign to PS2. Following the manual, when I press PS2 and "unlock" on the fob it doesn't beep and set, it just performs the unlock door function.

I have replaced both batteries in the fobs. Any ideas why one performs perfectly, and the other fob doesn't want to know ?

Try clearing any assignment first. I could not get assigning to work until I cleared. Also have the for shut - the quick guide does'n say this but the full manual does.

Try clearing any assignment first. This worked for me even though I didn't have any assignments.

Also do the assigning with the door shut. The quick user guide does not say this but the full manual and these forums do.

Thank you for your reply John. Yes, I've been following the main manual so the doors have been closed.

I've just tried clearing the fob and it just performs the unlock function with no beep. Tried after to assign, but again no beep and just unlock function performed.

Anyone else with ideas please ? It may be that the fob is faulty of course, if so we'll just live with it.
