Keyless Start,ls430 2001 Model

Hi,I'm a new owner and member I've wanted an ls for ever,now I have 1 and need your help ,I have a problem with the keyless start,I can enter the car keyless without a problem but I sometimes cannot turn the start switch,I've replaced the Battery in both keys,I've very tried switching the keyless on and off under the dash but nothing happens?,It's as if the car doesn't recognise the key rather than the key not recognising the car,please help.

Hi Anthony and welcome to the LOC, we are a
friendly bunch and some of us even know how to pull them to bits and
put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer
left over.

We recommend you spend a couple of mins
looking over the rules of the LOC, we will be asking questions later

I don't know how to ask something so I'm replying on here

I have a Lexus ls300 and I put it in garage for a repair now the keyless entry doesn't work I have to keep pressing the button

Does anyone know why ?

I might have to ring Lexus garage but don't want to look stupid
