Hi

I have a 2005 gs300 with head lamp problems- purchased 2 second hand ballast apparently both faulty!

I need to buy 2 more and am sceptical about purchasing from ebay-china america

can anybody help me to source these in the uk???

I cant go out after dark as no head lights

Hi Teresa and welcome to the LOC.

Seems a little strange that both headlights have failed at the same time as the ballasts and bulbs are generally long lasting and reliable.

Have you had the Battery supply to the ballasts checked as this sound more like it is missing with both headlights affected, unfortunately I don't have the electrical wiring diagrams for the GS300 but would be looking at fuses, connections and the headlight switch itself before splashing out on expensive OEM ballasts.

friendly bunch and some of us even know how to pull them to bits and
put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer
left over.

We recommend you spend a couple of mins
looking over the rules of the LOC, we will be asking questions later
