Rx300/350 Reversing Lamps

can anyone tell me if all rx suffer from appalling reversing lamps,they are useless,i have replaced the bulbs for 20 w,but still useless,we have to back out onto a very narrow dark lane and the reverse lamps are totally useless,we keep the brake lights lit to help see,

Lots on this in other posts. I have replaced mine with high intensity LED (820 lumens) and removed the silvered shields and it is a lot better.

thanks,i already thought about taking the bulb "covers"off,been driving for decades ,had most types of cars,spent many yrs hgv driving and can't say i have ever come across this problem before.so i will look into modifying them soon
