Lexus Oc App On Istore

Has the Lexus Owners Club app disappeared from the apple app Store? I use it a lot but I can't find it to download to my new phone.

Yep - it's gone. The tapatalk app works with the forum.

Be good know where is went and if it will be back as its how I access the forum 90% of the time

Thanks for the replies. I use tapatalk for the club jazz forum and found the Lexus app much better (just like the cars).

Hopefully they are working on a new app.

Paul - just a thought. Do you have an Iphone backup to your pc/Mac?

If so in the iTunes media / applications folder should be the app - which you should be able to reinstall from.

I did a backup of my old phone on the computer then restored this to the new phone. It tries to bring the Lexus OC app in but it fails. I think is trying to download it from the App Store but as it is not there can't find it.

I'll have to make do with tapatalk for now.

When you backup you need to allow it to download missing apps on the computer from the phone and then when you restore you let iTunes copy back the applications rather than letting the phone try and download the apps directly from the store.

When I click on my apps in iTunes there is nothing there.

connect your device to your computer. In iTunes, click on the device and then select File > Devices > Transfer purchases from .....

Thanks Colin, but when I do this it seems to transfer the music and movie files but no Apps. No Apps appear in the middle window to install. Is there a setting somewhere hidden in iTunes that disables syncing of Apps? I hate ITunes. I used to consider myself computer literate but iTunes really confuses me. Must be getting old.

Got a reply from customer support saying they no longer use the Lexus stand alone app. Use TapATalk instead.
