How many of you guys have done the Acis valve mod? My is200 auto is pretty sluggish until i hit 4k rpm i heard if open it the car will be quicker up revs.

You lose low down torque if you open the valve too early, that is the whole point of the system - gives a long air intake path at low rpm to increase torque and shortens it at high rpm to improve top end bhp. Having said that lowering the switch point 500 to 1000 rpm may improve things slightly - but don't expect much, a bit more noise to fool you into thinking it is going faster would be the main benefit.

Looking through a few forums, Having the acis is one of the best mods they have made, no reports of torque loss

I saw this also and have been tempted. Once i get my car to the RR i'll give it a try and see what difference it makes. I thought it was the opposite of what Colin said tho. I thought it increased low down torque but suffered high end.

I guess only one way to find out.

First time I've seen this mentioned. Does the valve open automatically because it's disconnected? Or how do you make sure it's open?
