Any Easy Way To Remove The Glovebox Lid?

Recommended Posts

I've managed to tear my glovebox lid, and have purchased a replacement, but before I dive in and start trying to work out what to do / set off airbags, etc. - I thought I'd ask here.

It's a 2007 GS450h - and it's the foldy down lid that I'm trying to remove and replace, not the entire glovebox.

Any help or hints'n'tips (or just "Good luck - I've tried and it's impossble" comments) gratefully received.

Thanks!

I'm not exactly sure how the lid comes off but I took the whole glove box out last weekend and that took less than ten minutes,

Even if getting access to removing the lid means removing the glovebox it's a very simple task.

Thanks - that sounds good. Any brief instructions would be very welcome.

I'll scan some instructions and upload them. There currently in my glovebox and my car is in the Lexus dealership.

Should get it back by Thursday
