Having been warned that my front disks were lipped and the pads were 70% worn at the last MOT/service i think its time to change em. I dont really want to go to lexus cos of the cost. What i want to know is what tools are needed to do the job. I hate jacking the car up and finding i dont have the right tool for the job.

Cheers

Phil

I changed mine myself recently (same brake pads and disks on GS) and I used Mintex pads front and rear and Lexus disks (rears). This was the cheapest for me and the Mintex pads are equally as good.

The Mintex rear disks were more expensive than buying from Lexus, maybe try Lucas disks?

Joining GOLD will get yop a discount if you order parts from Lexus :winky:
