Hi

I have a 2007 Lexus GS450h and the front struts need to be replaced. Does anyone know: is a new strut/shock (with avs) a ''plug and play'' spare part or does it need to be programmed into the car? I am asking because if I buy parts from internet, is a local car workshop able to change them. It is pretty expensive to buy new parts from Lexus for an old car... Thanks

Jan

HI jan

I dont own a 450h but have been looking into them for a while and it appears there is no aftermarket option for these

i can't answer your specific question but just wanted to suggest amayama.com - they sell genuine parts but cheaper for example lexus have listed on eBay front shock £311.40 - by putting the same number in on the amayama website i got a price of £158.44.

whatever you decide please do post up - it will be helpful to members
