Problems With Face Lift Ls430

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I collected my new 53 plate LS last weekend and have encountered more than a few problems that I could do with some help with.

1) The heater only works when it wants and gets nowhere near as hot as my mark 4

2)Drives side head light keeps going on anf off

3)Going over bumps shuts every thing down for a spit second.

All in all big electrical probs has any one got any ideas all help would be welcome.

Thanks in advance Andy

Sounds like an earth problem. Check all earth points for corrosion or loose connections. This doesn't apply for the heater though. Is there enough coolant in the system? Does the car take long to reach operating temp?

It might be something as simple as a loose Battery terminal. If you got it from a dealer, they tend to disconnect the Battery until someone wants to look at the car. They, then, just tap the terminal back on. When you drive it over a bump, the loose connection does its thing.
