Saw that on my tablet via 'newsnow' & assumed it was a 400 at a glance.

Could be fun hauling it out of a u/g car park :)

If it is dry down there then at least the cam belt wheels wont be too badly pickled, so the belt wont shred in a few miles....if it can persuaded to go.

did you see the picture in the back window?

tbh, thats worth every penny. A friend of mine needed a headlight and a few other bits - he spent nearly £600 on parts that could easily of been supplied via this car. The wheels are worth a £100 to anyone alone.

I agree with you, Rudy. To a 430 owner it has to be worth the money - just for spares. And, who knows, a little bit of TLC and it might be a goer.

About 10 years ago, a friend of mine bought an S Class Merc that had been left in the same circumstances (its owner was being detained at 'Her Majesty's Pleasure') and he got years of use out of it.
