Took my IS-F into Lexus Guildford for the 60k service having arranged to pick up a courtesy car.

Bit of chat with the service guy, asked if he was giving me an RC-F, he stopped, thought a minute, went to see the manager, gave me the keys to their demonstrator for the day.

Now that is what I call Courtesy!!!!

How much have they quoted for 6yr /60k service? Mines due so curious if worth coming to Guildford for the service...

Great looking car tho. Nice weather for it too !

The quoted the standard £895 that Lexus have agreed all their dealers should charge.

It was nice to drive, felt more different that i expected. Engine was more urgent and somewhat more free revving, rock solid feel to the car but not too jarring over the bumps. Steering was a bit lighter than I expected though.

Very different feeling inside the cabin, very nice.......

I might try that when my service is due, see what courtesy car i can get. I tend to get a GS when i leave them the IS-F

£895.......wow........I would want a Veyron as a courtesy car at those prices. LOL.

Standard price for a 60k service.

You lucky so n so.. They very very rarely give you a top sport model as a courtesy car lol.

I have a question.. Did it have much torque at lower revs? I know the ISF is more torquey after 3500rpm

I didn't notice any lack of torque. Engine seemed a lot more eager to rev than my ISF, perceptually 'more alive' to drive.

Anyone who is thinking of a service soon, call around a few local Lexus dealers, they will drop the price very quickly to match the others, i started off at £895 with lexus Twickenham. and after calling 4 local dealers Lexus Croyden did my 60k service for £695, prop could of got a better price if i spent another few minutes calling a few other dealers.

I think its a price cap not a fixed price.

Enjoy the Rcf, very jealous!

I did get 10% off, as I have a discount card from Inchcape Lexus, didn't bother to shop around as I thought the prices had been fixed.

So much for the 'collusion on prices' and that many Lexus dealers saying prices are now fixed across all dealers.

Well done.
