14 Bags of 10-20 mm stone,10 in the boot,4 on the rear seat ( covered first of course ) and still pulled like a train,and did not bottom out either :) 3 trips of 10 miles from local quarry,i saved 50 quid in delivery costs,and used just over a gallon of fuel the old girl never ceases to amaze me B)

i had to put 4 bags of finishing plaster in my 430 boot and was praying all the way home - all 4 miles of it lol

Now, with Citroen suspension, you don't need to worry! Self adjusting, height stays constant.

Let's face it. A boot big enough for the average henchman's hits (say 2 bodies) 5 seats, 3 of which at the rear for goons.

Average goon 100-140Kg = 4-6 bagsx3 = 12-18 bags, plus the lighter "cargo" int he boot fo maybe 2x 60-80kg, so anywhere around the 18-20 bags and you should still be ok!

What incredibly versatile cars these are eh?! Use them on
track days or for carrying heavy loads and they take it happily. A shame they
never did an estate version, or gave them a fold-down rear seat back (my Camrys
had that, a useful feature).

Some years ago I had 35m2 of laminate wood flooring to
collect. To make a bit more space I stripped the rear seat out of the big
Nissan 300C saloon I had at the time and managed to fit it all in there and the
boot (and had my pregnant wife on board too!).

Totally versatile, mine has had many a trip to the local tip with more than a few bags of heavy soil etc.

Also when I used to run local school bar for fund raising events, found you could get a heck of a lot of beer in the boot and car was drive-able (steering a bit light), and would still pull like a train.

Who needs a pickup (Well having seen some USA conversions, would be great if I could get my hands on one for this 'awkward' loads)
