Replacing Pasanger Door Handle Is 220d

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have an issue with my central locking system as the car doesn't lock itself after beeing left close. Had an issue as sometimes it doesn't respond to the key at all. After full service done in Lexus Dealership I've been told that my passanger door handle ecu is not working and its confusing the whole central locking system. As for this to be replaced in a dealership cost £400. Price looks a bit high. Does anyone knows is it possible to replace the handle from any other Lexus IS220D? Is it possible it to be programmed elswhere?? Thanks

Seems unlikely it's gone 'wrong' ... more likely something has worked loose.... have you tried pulling the door card off and having a look?... it might be obvious.

If you dealer is anything like mine, they are just after money for job that doesn't need it
