New Gs300 Owner

Hi everyone,

After signing up to this forum ages ago, I finally picked up a 98 GS300 last week for a bit of a steal. Has a few issues that I'm going to sort over the next few months - the usual master cylinder issue (though the brakes work fine) and a few other bits.

Drove it from Liverpool down to London and back at the weekend with no problems, so pretty pleased so far. Economy wasn't even that bad. I'm used to doing the journey in a 2014 1.4 Astra, so the extra comfort and waftyness was well appreciated - plus I can sell the Astra now.

I suspect I;ll be posting on here a lot from now on, so hello to all.

Hello and welcome to the LOC.

I had a GS300 1999 which I bought as a loaner when my LS400 was being repaired and the one thing that bothered me was the brake issue known on these, I sold it to the bodyshop owner who did the repairs and 3 years later he's still driving it around.

Hi and welcome to the LOC, we are a
friendly bunch and some of us even know how to pull them to bits and
put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer
left over.
