I have a Lexus GS300 - 2005 (2006 to 2011).

I have discovered a fault with the courtesy puddle mirror light on the drivers side. It doesn't work even with a working bulb. I have checked the wiring in the mirror it is as new as the day the car was built . It has no evidence of wear or breakage on the wires.

The puddle mirror light on the passenger side works as it should. The puddle mirror light on the drivers side doesn't work at all.

I have swapped the working mirror puddle light bulb on the working passenger side and put it on the drivers side puddle mirror light bulb but it still does not work.

The drivers side mirror electrically tilts and angles as it should, I don't think that this would be a blown fuse as I don't think there is separate fuse for the mirror panel that exists, I would love it if somebody could say "yes it will be a fuse!", and then tell me where to find the fuse.

All of the other courtesy electronic features; lights, locks, interior, exterior. Work absolutely fine apart from the drivers side mirror puddle light.

same fault with my 07 is 220d. got a bit further as in there is 12 volts at the light socket so it is a negative switch. did you get yours working? it must be a relay.

Undo the door switch then retighten it, it did it for me no more trouble since i think the switch must slightly corrode
