Hi all

Just noticed last few days on motorway there is wind noise coming in through windscreen as anybody else had this and is there a cure it seems to be coming just above centre vents

i didnt have radio too loud maybe its been there and i have not noticed it

I had better start turning volume up

The windscreens are all bonded so no rubber seal involved, has the car had a replacement windscreen that you know of? If so it may be a poor bond in that area.

Also bear in mind the climate control may be directing outside air into the car at this time of the year so direction flaps may be in different positions increasing the airflow noise through the vents and pipework,try turning the climate control completely off and see if the noise goes with it.

Ask a passenger to try pressing the screen at the edges to see if the noise increases/decreases.

I had this issue on my old GS430 at the off side top corner. Even though I knew it was coming from the windscreen my dealer insisted on replacing the drivers door seal. Once that didn't fix it they removed the screen and rebonded it. Luckily I purchased it with 2 months left on the initial 3 year warranty so it didn't cost me anything other than aggravation.
