OMG ....... I must rush out and buy one ..... woops, I have one and aren't I soooooo pleased to have discovered these amazing cars 14 years ago and finished up with my Mk3 which looks almost as good as the one in the video .............. ( well, not far off anyway .. or am I kidding myself a little too much at 177k miles )

It certainly was for the Japanese Domestic Market to reduce the heat inside the car when stood in the warmer climate of Japan so may have been available as an optional non extra for other countries.

Well some of the Newness has worn off mine,but not alot in nearly 200,000

Front Heated seats (inop) rears still good

Auto tint door mirrors are no longer

Radio back light (inop) will be sorted soon.

So all in all im mighty impressed :) :)

An hours work for the backlight problem, 55 minutes of dismantling/reassembly and 5 minutes of resoldering the chip resistors.
