Yes I have had vredsteins and now conti's - TS850 - they won the last auto express winter tyre test IIRC.

They have both been outstanding and they transform the car - last Christmas in the heavy snow we took my LS on the winters as opposed to my wife's RX450 (on regular tyres) for a long journey we had to undertake. The reassurance of grip and under braking is fantastic.

Nah not really but the winter tire prices will go up soon so want to get them before that happens.

I have done some research and am tempted by the new Michelin Cross climate tyres.Not available in 245/45/18 yet but I have a set of 17" wheels so will go for 225/55/17 as fitted on previous Ls models.cheapest I've found.let me know if anyone can get them cheaper.thx
