lovely drive up to Aberdovey for a week - 28.6 mpg - and then walking into town last night spotted a very nice grey 05 LS430 on a house drive. This little town must currently have a very high proportion of 430s!

Aberdovey is one of the great little gems of Wales, and I agree about the golf course being fabulous. We are fortunate to live quite close and never tire of visiting.

It is a cracking and demanding course Jon. I play at Harlech. Let me know if you want a round and I`ll treat you if I`m available.

We take this house, owned by the Trefeddian hotel, every year for the first week in august, between my family and my sister s. This year I have some teenage boys who are keen on trying golf, so I am thinking maybe Machynchleth to take them?

I can recommend the course at Borth. Not as challenging as the Aberdovey course, and cheaper.

I did a four week Outward Bound Course at Aberdovey in 1972, it is a beautiful area
