I got t cut compound used on my headlights they came sparkling also comes with protective solution which u apply after compound could have used toothpaste but got it free thought try it @ was really pleased with result well recommend it mine is 2006 is220d lights had dirt bedded in it

Manufacturer saving money but still charging consumer same money but they say it make car lighter so why isn't price lighter too

Yes they know that they go hazy or yellow, more money for them. Vauxhall cars are terrible for it , mine seem fine at the moment .

Just be aware, that from the factory, the polycarbonate plastic is coated with a clear silicone top-coat. This is much harder than the polycarbonate itself, and protects against scratching and yellowing.

If you t-cut the silicone off, then the polycarbonate is unprotected and will scratch and yellow much faster. Not much you can do about it, if the original protective coating had failed, but just be aware that once you re-polish the headlight lenses, you'll be redoing them regularly.
